SpeedRent provides professional rental services for gasoline scooters, electric bikes, and other vehicles in Iasi. To ensure a pleasant and safe experience, please read and adhere to the rental terms outlined below.

1. Rental Eligibility

To benefit from our services, you must meet the following conditions:

• Gasoline scooters without a license: Available for users aged 18 or older, limited to a maximum speed of 25 km/h, in compliance with legislation.

• Gasoline scooters with a license: Requires a valid AM or B category driver’s license.

• Electric bikes: No license required, but we recommend basic experience with electric bicycles.

• A valid ID (identity card or passport) is required.

2. Rental Duration and Fees

• Minimum rental period: 24 hours.

• Rental fee: Varies based on the type of vehicle and rental duration. The fee includes vehicle maintenance and technical assistance.

• Deposit: A refundable deposit of 300 RON is required per vehicle. It will be returned at the end of the contract if the vehicle is returned in good condition.

3. Payment Methods

• We accept cash, bank transfer, or credit/debit cards.

• The rental fee and deposit must be paid in full when the vehicle is picked up.

4. Customer Obligations

The customer agrees to:

• Use the vehicle exclusively for personal purposes and as intended.

• Comply with all applicable traffic laws in Romania.

• Immediately notify the SpeedRent team in case of technical issues or incidents.

• Return the vehicle on the date and time specified in the contract.

5. Responsibility for Damages or Theft

• Damages: The customer is responsible for any damages caused by improper use of the vehicle. Repair costs will be deducted from the deposit or charged separately if they exceed the deposit amount.

• Theft: In case of vehicle theft, the customer must file a police report and provide the necessary documentation. If negligence is proven (e.g., leaving the vehicle unattended), the customer will be held responsible for the full value of the vehicle.

6. Return Conditions

The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when it was rented, including cleanliness and fuel levels.

• Insufficient fuel: A fee of 2 euros/liter will be charged.

• Dirty vehicle: A cleaning fee of 50 RON – 100 RON will apply, depending on the level of dirt.

7. Extending the Rental Period

• Any request for an extension must be made at least 24 hours before the initial rental period ends.

• Extensions are possible only if the vehicle has no subsequent bookings.

8. Technical Assistance

SpeedRent offers 24/7 technical support for all rented vehicles. For any issues, contact our team for quick solutions, whether you’re renting scooters in Iasi or electric bikes.

9. Late Return Penalties

• The first 2 hours of delay are free, but must be notified in advance.

• Delays exceeding 3 hours will be charged as an additional rental day.

• Unnotified delays may result in the retention of the deposit.

10. Rights and Responsibilities

Customer Rights:

• A clean, fully functional, and well-equipped vehicle.

• Technical assistance during the rental period.

• Deposit refund under the agreed conditions.

SpeedRent Rights:

• SpeedRent reserves the right to refuse vehicle rentals to individuals who fail to meet contract conditions or pose a risk to the safety of vehicles and other users.
